After a number of reports in Derbyshire regarding fake Scottish notes, we would like to take this opportunity to advise everyone on the signs to look out for when handling Scottish currency especially £50 notes.

If you are a business owner, you are entitled to refuse payment if you believe any currency to be a forgery, and this needs reporting to the police.
